Steamship "Alicia" moves two completely-built houses across the Monongahela River near Grays Landing, Greene County.
The steamboat "Alicia," originally the towboat "G. W. Thomas," was built in Jeffersonville, IN in 1901. It was renamed "Alicia" after its purchase by the W. Harry Brown Coal & Coke Co. in 1912. The "Alicia" sank in ice near Brownsville, PA in February, 1918. It was subsequently raised, then burned at Brownsville in March, 1923.
