Horse drawn Car No. 40 of the Citizens Passenger Railway.

Notes:
The Citizens Passenger Railway was the first horse car line in Pittsburgh. It operated along Penn Avenue to 34th Street and later was extended to East Liberty. Horse cars were utilized in Pittsburgh until 1924.
